These were my first experiments using a cintiq. I live traced the outline using Illustrator from a sketch of mine. Then moved the oulined illustration in Photoshop to add some colour and fur image.
I am not very pleased with these illustrations but I think these are a good start for exploring new techniques as Simon (Ralph Steadman's biographer) said that 'as an illustrator you have to learn to fail' and Steadman was never afraid to start something new and experiment with a variety of media, techniques and processes.
I had so much fun playing with Cintiq and might use it again in the future
